l want to thank everybody for the kindness & support they've shown me in the past weeks.During that time i've learnt that as artists we have to protect our mind & prioritise our mental health rather than just go out there and do what the world wants us to do.The demands of the showbiz industry are relentless, the ongoing pandemic has made it worse so the cumulative effect over a period of time can have major impact on your wellbeing. Every artist has to deal with a lot more stress and pressure than most people, spending significant amounts of time creating art, away from family, with minimal freedoms is challenging. But I’ve been working on it, I’ve been learning and I think that’s all I can do. Prior to that l never imagined how my art had been positiv

In a suspected murder case the body of a 15 year-old teenager was found hanging inside a local church toilet. The deceased body of Tinotenda Gundira was found hanging by residents from Redcliff’s suburb of Torwood in the early hours of Tuesday. “It’s very sad and tragic that we have lost such a young life under such unclear circumstances,” he said. While Tinotenda’s death remains a mystery, residents from Redcliff believe that he was murdered in a suspected artisanal mining fight. “We suspect the now deceased would have been murdered in a suspected artisanal mining fight and then they hung his body in the church’s toilet so that it would appear as if he had committed suicide,” said Dabvu. Councilor Dabvu revealed that

Popular award winning journalist, Hopewell Chin’ono, yesterday warned Chamisa that he faces certain defeat in the 2023 Presidential elections if he does not attend to the situation developing in Matabeleland. This follows the announcement by All People ‘s Party that former Zimbabwe national soccer team captain, Peter Ndlovu, will be their Presidential candidate in 2023. Writing on his widely followed Facebook Page, Chin’ono said: Matebeleland is key, and also unique. If it fields more presidential candidates with name recognition, Mnangagwa will smile all the way back to State House due to a split vote! It needs to build a coalition that rallies behind one viable national candidate, Nelson Chamisa! The MDC must sit down with people from Matebeleland

The second batch of so-called ‘foreign national offenders’ consisting of seven Zimbabwean deportees from the United Kingdom arrived in the country on Thursday taking the total to 21. The seven, convicted of several crimes including murder, rape, robbery among others, regarded as Foreign National Offenders, arrived at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport aboard a Boeing 767. The returnees were taken to the Zimbabwe Institute of Public Administration and Management (ZIPAM) for quarantine. Last month, UK Home Secretary Priti Patel said the British government was deporting people who have been recognised as Foreign National Offenders and posing a threat to its communities. “My key objective is to protect the public. It is longstanding Government policy t
A SECOND deportation charter flight to Zimbabwe from the UK has been confirmed for next week Wednesday, 25 August, amid indications that some of the Zimbabwean nationals who have been served removal notices are stressed and suicidal. The Zimbabwea government has previously said there is nothing strange about the deportation of Zimbabwean nationals by the United Kingdom government, as the host country had a right to do so if it felt the foreigners were violating its laws. Dozens of Zimbabwean nationals are being held in Brook House Immigration Removal Centre and face removal from the UK. A petition has been launched by Black Activists Rising Against Cuts (BARAC) UK to stop the flight to Harare and currently has over 24,000 signatures. Speaking to The Voice, Zita Holbourne, co-founder
