The late ZRP detective Cassandra Hove, who was based in Bulawayo and tragically passed away on Thursday night, was actually shot and killed by a fellow ZRP officer.
Initial reports suggested that she was fatally shot in Pumula South while bravely pursuing an armed robbery suspect. However, her family has since been informed that she was a victim of friendly fire, following a meeting with the police.
