Dead Baby Found In Sewer Drainage System

Dead baby found in sewer drainage system

Dead baby found in sewer drainage system. The baby was discovered by children who were playing close to the sewer system and later advised elders who filed a police report.Residents of Glendale in Mashonaland Central province were shell-shocked on Friday after they discovered a dead baby’s body in a drainage sewer system. Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Inspector Milton Mundembe confirmed the case.

We managed to retrieve the body after receiving the report and we conveyed it Concession hospital for post mortem while investigations continue,” Mundembe said.
Social commentator director of Re-inspiration for Girl- Child Education Rita Tiriboi expressed disappointment over the case. “While some pray day and night to hold a baby in their arms, some have the audacity to their theirs into the sewer drainage as witnessed here by Glendale residents,” Tiriboi said.

One resident Sarudzai Moto denounced baby dumping saying the labour endured by mothers is so hard hence babies should be kept. “I strongly condemn women who dump babies because labour pains are so hard but you find one killing an innocent soul like this it is very bad,” lamented Moto.
Some residents pledged to assist the police with investigations on the perpetrator to be apprehended

Contested Divorce Lawyer: What Happens When Spouses Cannot Agree?

A divorce becomes contested when spouses cannot agree on one or more major issues.

That disagreement may involve children, money, property, support, debt, or even whether the divorce should happen.

A contested divorce lawyer helps protect your rights when negotiation is difficult and court action may be needed.

What Makes a Divorce Contested?

A divorce may be contested because spouses disagree about:

Child custody
Parenting time
Child support
Spousal support
Who keeps the house
How retirement is divided
Business ownership
Debt responsibility
Hidden assets
Domestic violence allegations
Relocation with children
Attorney fees

A contested divorce usually takes longer and costs more than an uncontested divorce.

What Happens First?

The process usually begins when one spouse files a divorce petition.

The other spouse is served and has a deadline to respond.

Temporary orders may be requested for:

Custody
Parenting time
Child support
Spousal support
Who stays in the home
Who pays bills
Restraining financial behavior
Protective orders

Temporary orders can shape the case while the divorce is pending.

Discovery in Contested Divorce

Discovery is the formal process of exchanging information.

It may include:

Financial affidavits
Interrogatories
Requests for documents
Depositions
Subpoenas
Business records
Bank statements
Credit card statements
Retirement statements
Tax returns

Discovery is especially important when one spouse controls the money.

Mediation in Contested Divorce

Even contested cases often go to mediation before trial.

Mediation may resolve some or all issues.

A lawyer can help you prepare by identifying:

Best-case outcome
Worst-case risk
Acceptable compromises
Financial documentation
Custody priorities
Trial risks
Settlement options

Court Hearings

A contested divorce may involve hearings about:

Temporary support
Custody schedules
Document production
Protective orders
Use of the home
Attorney fees
Contempt or enforcement
Emergency issues

A lawyer presents evidence and arguments to the judge.

Divorce Trial

If settlement fails, the case may go to trial.

At trial, the judge may hear:

Testimony
Financial evidence
Expert opinions
Custody evidence
Property valuation
Witness statements
Legal arguments

The judge then makes decisions based on the law and evidence.

How to Prepare for a Contested Divorce

Helpful steps include:

Gather financial documents
Avoid emotional texting
Follow temporary orders
Keep parenting records
Document expenses
Stay off social media
Do not hide assets
Communicate through your lawyer when needed
Focus on facts
Prepare for mediation seriously

Final Thoughts

A contested divorce can be stressful, but preparation matters.

A contested divorce lawyer helps you understand the process, gather evidence, negotiate strategically, and present your case in court when necessary.

When spouses cannot agree, strong legal guidance can help protect your future.

Best Plumbing Service for Emergency Repairs

When a pipe bursts or a drain backs up, you need a plumbing service you can trust right away. Emergency plumbing problems can cause serious damage fast, so choosing the right company matters.
A good emergency plumber should be available quickly, communicate clearly, and know how to handle urgent repairs safely. The best companies respond fast because they understand that water damage, leaks, and sewer problems can get worse by the minute.
Start by looking for local plumbers with emergency service hours. A company that offers 24/7 support or same-day response is often better prepared for urgent situations than one that only works during normal business hours. In an emergency, speed is just as important as skill.
You should also check whether the plumber is licensed and insured. That gives you more confidence that the work is being done professionally and that you are protected if something goes wrong. Experience with emergency repairs is also a major plus.
Before hiring anyone, ask about pricing. Some plumbing companies charge flat emergency fees, while others bill by the hour or by the type of repair. Understanding the cost upfront can help you avoid surprises when you are already dealing with a stressful situation.
Reviews can also be helpful. Look for comments about response time, professionalism, clean-up, and whether the repair actually solved the problem. A plumber with strong local reviews is often a safer choice than one with little public feedback.
The best plumbing service for emergency repairs is the one that responds fast, solves the problem correctly, and gives you confidence during a stressful time.
