The woman, who is from Keme Village, also had her left finger missing when her body was discovered.
Police have since launched a manhunt for the killer.
Police spokesperson Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident The Herald reports.
“Police in Mphoengs are investigating circumstances surrounding a murder case which occurred on June 5 2021 at Keme Village, Mphoengs, Plumtree, where a woman (29) was found dead in her bedroom,” he said.

According to the police report, on the fateful day, Hamabungu went to Charumbika’s cabin at night and confronted him over the alleged illicit affair with his wife.
Armed with a log, he assaulted Charumbika.
