Zimbabwean Man Charged After Wife Stabbed Nearly 30 Times in Missouri

A Zimbabwean man living in Missouri has been charged with multiple felonies after authorities say he stabbed his wife nearly 30 times before fleeing with their 6-year-old daughter.

Police said the incident happened on July 1 in unincorporated St. Louis County. Neighbors reportedly called 911 after hearing the woman screaming from a balcony that she was going to die. When officers arrived, they found her suffering from multiple stab wounds.

According to investigators, the victim told police that her husband, Munyaradzi Chiturumani, had threatened to kill their child before leaving with the girl. An AMBER Alert was issued, and authorities later found the child safe at a motel.

Police said two bloody knives were recovered from the home. Chiturumani is being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond. A motive has not yet been released.

Neighbors at a Missouri apartment complex heard startling words when a woman apparently screamed from her balcony that she was going to die before she was found stabbed dozens of times.

Munyaradzi Chiturumani, 36, was wanted in an AMBER Alert announced by the Missouri State Highway Patrol after he allegedly stabbed his wife and took their 6-year-old daughter.

The defendant was found, arrested, and charged with first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child creating substantial risk, according to area CBS affiliate KMOV

On Wednesday at about 5 p.m., neighbors called 911 "after hearing victim yelling out that she was going to die from her balcony," a probable cause statement obtained by the outlet states. Police responded to the area on Shadycreek Court in St. Louis County "to find [the] victim with approximately 30 stab wounds."

The woman was transported to a hospital and stated that "her husband stabbed her and he threatened to kill their 6-year-old child next and then left with the child," the court document goes on.

"Police later seized two bloody knives in the residence," the probable cause statement adds. Authorities said the woman was later listed in stable condition. Investigators spent hours searching for the father, identified as Chiturumani, and the couple's daughter.

The girl was found safe in the city of St. Louis, police added. She was in "relatively good condition" and cared for by medical personnel.

"We are ecstatic that we've been able to locate her," the police department said.

Chiturumani was located about 12 miles east in Caseyville, Illinois. He was arrested and jailed on a $500,000 cash-only bond.

Authorities noted that they had — in times past — been called to the apartment where the alleged attack occurred.

Online MBA Programs: Why More Professionals Are Choosing Flexible Education

Online MBA programs have become increasingly popular among professionals seeking career advancement while maintaining full-time jobs and personal responsibilities. Business schools around the world are offering flexible online degrees that allow students to study from anywhere using digital learning platforms and virtual classrooms.

One of the biggest advantages of online MBA programs is convenience. Students can complete coursework, participate in discussions, and attend lectures without relocating or commuting to physical campuses. This flexibility makes online education attractive for working professionals, entrepreneurs, and parents balancing multiple responsibilities.

Modern MBA programs cover subjects such as finance, leadership, marketing, business analytics, and strategic management. Many universities also offer specialized MBA tracks in areas including healthcare management, cybersecurity, entrepreneurship, and international business. Employers increasingly recognize accredited online degrees as valuable qualifications in competitive job markets.

Technology has significantly improved the quality of online education. Interactive video lessons, virtual group projects, and AI-powered learning systems help students stay engaged while developing practical business skills. Networking opportunities through online communities and alumni programs also provide professional connections and career support.

Financial experts encourage prospective students to compare tuition costs, accreditation status, and graduation outcomes before selecting programs. Investing in education remains one of the most effective ways to increase earning potential and expand career opportunities in today’s digital economy.

The Rise of Entrepreneurship in the Digital Economy

Entrepreneurship has become one of the most powerful drivers of economic growth and innovation in the digital era. Advances in internet technology, social media, and e-commerce platforms have made it easier for individuals to start businesses and reach global audiences with relatively low startup costs.

Digital entrepreneurs are building businesses in areas such as online retail, content creation, software development, digital marketing, and financial technology. Social media platforms allow entrepreneurs to promote products, connect with customers, and build personal brands more effectively than traditional advertising methods.

One major advantage of digital entrepreneurship is flexibility. Business owners can operate remotely, manage online stores, and collaborate with international clients from virtually anywhere with internet access. Mobile banking and digital payment systems have also simplified financial transactions for small businesses and startups.

However, entrepreneurship also involves significant risks and challenges. Competition in online markets can be intense, and many startups struggle with funding, marketing, and long-term sustainability. Successful entrepreneurs often require strong communication skills, financial planning abilities, and adaptability to changing market trends.

Governments and educational institutions are increasingly supporting entrepreneurship through business development programs, startup funding initiatives, and technology education. Experts believe entrepreneurship will continue playing a major role in economic development, job creation, and technological innovation worldwide.
