A Bindura University bus accident left 25 people injured yesterday morning along the Harare–Mukumbura Road, north of Bindura, towards Mt Darwin.

The tragedy occurred near the 88-kilometre peg when the bus driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road to the left and landed on its side. All 24 passengers on board, including the driver, sustained varying degrees of injuries.

The injured were rushed to Bindura Hospital for medical attention. The bus sustained extensive damage, with its front offside deformed and windshields shattered.

Police from ZRP Bindura Traffic attended the scene, and the driver, Matron Arufera (45) of Chiwaridzo, Bindura, has been charged with negligent driving in violation of Section 52(2) of the Road Traffic Act [Chapter 13:11].

ZRP Mashonaland Central Acting Spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Lucy Chigwenhese, urged motorists to exercise caution and adhere to speed limits at all times to prevent road accidents.

Asylum Lawyer: How To Prepare A Strong Asylum Case

Asylum may protect people who fear persecution in their home country because of race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership in a particular social group. An asylum lawyer can help prepare a stronger case.

A strong asylum application usually includes a detailed personal statement, evidence of country conditions, witness statements, medical records, police reports, and proof of threats or harm.

The applicant must explain what happened, why they fear returning, and how the harm connects to a protected ground.

Asylum cases are often emotionally difficult. Many applicants must talk about trauma, violence, threats, or discrimination.

A lawyer can help organize evidence, prepare for interviews or court hearings, and address weaknesses in the case.

Deadlines matter. Some asylum applicants must file within a specific period unless an exception applies.

Asylum can provide safety and a path to stability. Legal help can improve preparation and reduce mistakes.

Defective Product Class Action Lawsuit: Can Consumers Get Compensation?

When a product is unsafe, defective, or falsely advertised, many consumers may be affected. A defective product class action lawsuit may help buyers seek compensation.

These cases may involve vehicles, electronics, appliances, medical devices, baby products, food items, building materials, or household goods.

A defect may involve design problems, manufacturing errors, safety failures, or misleading labels. Consumers may experience injuries, financial loss, repairs, replacements, or reduced product value.

A class action can pressure companies to provide refunds, repairs, replacements, or compensation.

Evidence may include purchase records, repair invoices, photos, recalls, complaints, and expert analysis.

If you believe a product is defective, stop using it if it may be dangerous and keep receipts, packaging, and records.

A class action lawyer can evaluate whether enough people were harmed in a similar way to support a group claim.
