We have received more details about the ongoing vehicle theft case involving Mike Mpinga, also known as Mupinga (pictured below), who recently made headlines after his pit bull fataIIy attacked someone in Bluffhill.
In this case, Mpinga first approached a man in Harare in August 2024 to hire a vehicle. A few weeks later, he returned with a proposal to start a car rental business together. He asked for more vehicles, claiming he would help register them since they were not yet registered.
Trusting him, the car owner handed over the vehicles along with the customs clearance papers. Mpinga promised to take care of the registration process through the Vehicle Theft Squad (VTS), but later gave several excuses when asked for updates. When the owner contacted VTS directly, he discovered that Mpinga had secretly registered the cars in his own name.
Mpinga then stopped answering calls, and it was later confirmed that he had sold all the vehicles, including the one he initially hired. The total value of the stolen cars is estimated at US$26,000.
This case adds to a growing list of serious criminal allegations against Mpinga, including two reports of sexuaI assauIt and one of attempted murd€r, with one case said to have involved a firearm. He looks guilty than his dog .

Investing in strong cybersecurity solutions helps organizations protect sensitive information and maintain customer trust.
Modern cybersecurity systems include firewalls, antivirus software, cloud security services, and network monitoring tools. Many businesses also implement employee training programs to reduce risks associated with phishing scams and social engineering attacks.
